PRESTIGE ROUGE
Minuty Prestige wines have been showcasing the terroirs of Provence for over 25 years. These are wines of character, born of a subtle alliance between power and finesse.
THE STORY
With its strong identity, Prestige Rouge is a reflection of what a red wine from Provence should be, but above all a reflection of the Minuty style. Jean-Etienne and François Matton set out to create this cuvée with the idea of a wine that is both generous on the nose and light on the palate.
THE METHOD
This cuvée is made from a meticulous blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and a little Grenache. Everything is vinified according to the House's criteria, with controlled vinification temperatures, light extraction to bring out the fresh, fruity aromas and the finest tannins. Malolactic fermentation to round out the finish and partial aging in French oak barrels.
THE FLAVOUR
Ruby color, with notes of red fruit and sweet spices. Fresh on the palate, with lingering fruit and spice aromas. A homogeneous, balanced and intense wine. The Prestige red delicately expresses the 3 grape varieties that characterize it: Syrah brings structure and fruit, Grenache power and roundness, Mourvèdre finesse. An expression of Provence's modern reds.
THE EXPERIENCE
The wine's full-bodied, gourmet character calls for all kinds of dishes, from white meats to grilled fish. Provence herbs go well with it, as do spices of all kinds, with exotic dishes like tagines and Indian dishes with curries. Prestige Rouge will lighten hearty salads with its fruitiness, and temper the spiciest sauces with its lightness and length.
