THE STORY
MINUTY M is the cuvée that reflects Provence and the Minuty style. Provence through its selection from all the terroirs of the Appellation, from the seaside to the hinterland, via Sainte-Victoire. Provence, too, in the shape of the bottle, streamlined in 2014, but invented and designed back in the 60s by Monique Farnet, mother of Jean-Etienne and François Matton. This revolutionary bottle shape was then adopted by the entire region, showing just how much the Matton-Farnet family has always been a major player in Provence wines. Finally, Pure Minuty, so emblematic is this cuvée of the Minuty style, where aromatic intensity mingles with lightness on the palate.
THE METHOD
Everything about the M vintage locks in its balance and vibrancy. Jean-Etienne and François Matton primarily use Grenache for its elegant aromas, Cinsault for its freshness, Syrah for its complexity and a dash of seafront Tibouren for its delicate white fruit aromas. The idea is to lock in all the juices’ bright intensity.
THE FLAVOUR
Notes of red fruit dominate the nose. The palate is greedy and round, with crunchy fruit. A slight sweetness tempers its liveliness. An introduction to the expression of Provence rosé.
THE EXPERIENCE
Cuvée Minuty M Rosé is a wine for every occasion. Serve between 8-10°, on the terrace or by the pool, with olives or any type of aperitif: tapas, taramas, crackers, wasabi peas, vegetable chips. Also summer salads like the classic tomato mozza or salade niçoise. Seafood such as small shellfish, prawns and prawns. Snack starters.
